Fresh food is served all day and is sourced from local suppliers and farmers within a 20-mile radius. Our head chef, Dumitru Fercal, a trained rosette chef, changes his menus daily depending on the availability of fresh produce.

Children aged 0-10 years will love Putlake Adventure Farm – The only adventure farm and indoor soft play area in Swanage for up to 10 miles. They are a real working farm, with animals, tractor rides, outdoor play equipment, pedal Go-Karts, picnic areas, trampolines, birds, a pet centre, tearooms and much more.

They have a broad range of animals, large and small, which can be bottle fed and even held in your own hands. Come along and run around in scenic views while cows moo and alpacas graze.

When you’ve had enough of running around the farm, enjoying the animals and games or the weather takes a turn for the worst – come inside to our giant, indoor soft play area. Our indoor soft play is probably one of the best in Dorset. Slides, ball pits, tunnels and much more awaits. It’s truly massive!

Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum

The Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre is a 65-acre ape and monkey sanctuary and rescue centre.

Monkey World assists governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild.

At the Centre refugees of this illegal trade as well as those that have suffered abuse or neglect are rehabilitated into natural living groups.
