About Us

Jane’s Places offer stress-free holiday experiences for families, groups and corporate guests. From the ease of making an enquiry to the knowledge of the local area, or the comfort and convenience of your stay and beyond.

As a holiday home agency, we are able to guarantee income for property owners and gift holidays to families in need.

We strive to create happy memories for our guests and take pride in gifting holidays to those affected by cancer.

We are growing regionally to provide quality service and guaranteed income for property owners, whilst serving our charitable cause. We pay attention to the smaller details from helping with planning your holiday to making sure you can have a hot drink and biscuit available upon your arrival.

Our team of regional managers take care of every detail of your experience, during and after your trip to be sure you have happy memories that last.

So how did Jane’s Places come about?

Jane is the name of my mother who died from ovarian cancer in 2016, she was given two to five years to live and lived for two. She was strong, hardworking and courageous, she spent her adult life providing for her family, devoting her life to us whilst building businesses from the bottom up.

She was initially diagnosed in 2014, but she kept going. She battled on, turning her businesses into something that would carry on providing and giving to her family and the community…Holiday homes. Together we started to build her legacy and something close to our hearts, a property agency that served a charitable cause.

The road ahead was hard, the pain, the sadness, and not feeling there was enough time in the day. Slowly she slowed.

After her passing in 2016, I made a commitment to continue to serve her legacy and renamed the business Jane’s Places, in honour of her. Reaching out in the aid to ease the pain nationally, we invite you to enjoy being a part of creating happy memories that last a lifetime.

When did your business start and are there any major milestones in your business’ history?

Jane Wills owned properties in Hartlepool, Manchester and Dorset, which she ran as rental properties and care homes as the family business from 1990. She converted the apartments up north into holiday lets in the early 2000s and the holiday home agency ‘Stay in The North’ was born.

She bought and sold properties which were managed by Stay in The North throughout her later life and passed on the family business to her daughter Debbie when she died in 2016. Debbie had helped her run the business whilst growing up. Debbie changed the business name to Jane’s Places in 2016 in honour of her late mother.
